Welcome to edm Modeling
Model for edm within your comfort zone…
We’ve been shooting people, places and things for well over 40 years now. We’ve been focused on model photography for over 20. Although our mainstay is in the realm of glamour and boudoir, we can pretty much shoot anything if there’s a good reason to do so. We’ve done weddings, family portraits, highschool reunions, birthday parties, school graduates, rodeo, barrel racing, real estate, business portraits, car races, camel races, dog races, you name it. But here we are.
Our roots date back to when we brushed elbows on a regular basis with an ex Playboy photographer, which is probably where our love for the glamour and boudoir work originates, having been involved in his activities now and then.
Whether you’re a seasoned model that happens to like the work that we do, or you are an aspiring individual with absolutely no experience, we’d love to hear from you!
Just drop us a line through our contact us form, or if you want to get a little more serious about your first communication with us, complete a Model For Us form and submit it. We look forward to hearing from you!
Getting started with edm…
Whether you are looking for one of our free monthly TFP sessions or you are seeking a paid modeling session with us, just fill out the form you are comfortable with; the TFP Request Form or the Model For Us Form.
Age verification…
We only work with individuals that are 18 years of age or older. We will ask you to bring a valid government-issued photo ID with you to your first session so we can verify your age. After that you will be good to go. Also, we do not allow anyone under 18 years of age in the studio or at the session in general.
TFP vs: paid modeling sessions…
We do both on a monthly basis. TFP is an easier-going type of session and experience for beginners and individuals that just want to see how it goes before they may get more serious about it. Paid sessions are generally more targeted and focused on a specific range of genres, based upon the information you supplied to us in your model for us form. All of our sessions are two hours in duration, allowing for a relaxed pace and numerous “looks” and wardrobe changes, set changes, etc.
Wardrobe, Makeup & Hair Styling…
Unless we make other arrangements well in advance of your session, all of these are on you. We anticipate you will show up at your session on-time an ready to roll, and looking the part. Some minor exceptions might be with regards to lingerie and boudoir sessions, where we do typically have a small supply of new (never worn before) lingerie sets, fishnets, bodysuits, etc. If we use anything that we supply during the shoot in the way of lingerie, stockings, bodysuits, etc., it’s yours to keep after the shoot.
Bringing someone with you for your safety and comfort…
Absolutely, please do! In fact we highly recommend it, especially on first-time sessions. All that we ask is that whoever you elect to bring with you, they know what the “game-plan” is well in advance, so they know what to expect from you given what your session plans and exercising you personal comfort level may be. Nobody likes surprises like that!
Private changing area and restroom facilities…
When we shoot in-studio you can be assured of having a private wardrobe changing area as well as proper restroom facilities… your safety and comfort are top priorities on our list!
Model publication…
Have you ever pictured yourself as being on the front cover of a modeling magazine? Whether you have or have not, we can help make that happen for you through our “over 400” magazine contacts and resources. Just go for it!
Model’s media releases…
ALL of our sessions include a signed model’s media release, without exception. Signed model releases protect both the model and the photographer! Typical problem scenario; a new model shoots with a “photographer” who does’nt use a model release for his model sessions and two months later one of her friends tells her that some of her more “risque” images showed up on a porn site! This happens! A signed release tells you what can and will happen with your images, AND almost more importantly it tells you what WILL NOT happen with them! Feel free to review our standard model’s media release prior to your first session with us!
No nudity required…
Depending on exactly who you talk to, you may get a variety of opinions on exactly what edm does and how we do it. Generally you will get those opinions from individuals that have never had a personal experience with us and really don’t have any first-hand knowldge of us and how we work with our modeling clients. So… if you have any questions for us in advance, please just ask us! We’re an open book when it comes to dealing with our modeling clients. And, oh by the way… no nudity is “required” to shoot with edm! IF your comfort zone and interests include it, that’s just fine, but it’s neither expected or required to work with us!
While we’re on the subjecy, you might want to check out our “With Regards To Nudity” page! But becareful where you read it, as it’s a NSFW page that pictures models in various stages of nudity, just as they wanted to be pictured.
Cancellations…
We generally set studio appointments with the model well in advance of the agreed upon session date. We rent studio space and time these days, having closed down our Reno studio in the early days of Covid. The studio has a 72-hour cancellation notice policy whereby if we do not give them at least 72 hours notice we do not get a credit for studio time when we cancel. So we need to pass that timeframe on to the model. We ask that ay cancellations be made with us well in advance of 72 hours prior to the booked session date and time.
