Where is eyeKandey Digital Media located?
We are in Reno, NV.
What are your operating hours?
We only shoot on weekends and only by appointment.
Do you work with all age groups?
We only work with individuals that are age 18 or older.
Do you have a studio?
We closed our studio during Covid-19 when our lease ran out in March 2020 and we had no idea what the future looked like so we simply did not renew the lease.
Where do you shoot then?
We are a member of Brick & Pine Studio in Carson City and we also rent space and time at MasterPeace Studio here in Reno as needed. We also shoot selectively at outdoor locations when the weather permits and the theme of the session at hand calls for it.
What equipment do you use?
Our main camera for stills is a Nikon D850 40 MP body and we use nothing but Nikkor gold band (professional) glass.
What software or apps do you use for image editing?
We use Photoshop exclusively for all image editing.
How long after a shoot does the model get her proof images?
Models generally have a link to their un-edited proofs on DropBox with 48 hours or less.
How many edited images do I get from my session?
There’s a lot of variaion in this, depending upon the session and our agreement on this subject, but generally speaking you get a minimum of 6 magazine-ready edits and that number can be a lot higher, depending on our arrangement. We recently did a session that provided of 80 magazine-ready edits!
Are there any limitations on who I can bring with me to my session?
You can bring anyone, as long as they are age 18 or older.
How long are your sessions?
Our sessions, with very few exceptions are two hours in duration.
Can I bring someone with me for my session so I feel more safe and comfortable?
Absolutely! The only thing we ask is that whoever you bring, they are aware of your plans for your session regarding wardrobe, genre, etc.
Do I bring my own wardrobe for my session?
Once again, it all depends upon what we have spoken about and negotiated. We have sessions where we provide no wardrobe at all, and we have sessions where we provide almost all of it. This is one element of things we will discuss when we are setting up your session.
Am I responsible for my own hair styling and makeup for my session?
Yes, unless we have made other arrangements in advance of your session.
What if I need to change my session date and time due to unforseen circumstances?
We need to know about any required changes well in advance, as soon as you know about them. The studios we work with require a minimum of a 72-hour notice on studio booked time for us to be able to change the studio session date and time without being charged for the original studio booking time.
Can you get me published in a modeling magazine?
We have publication resources that reach out to over 400 magazines, and we have a tremendously successful track record when it comes to publishing the models that we work with. We can actually shoot towards specific magazines or themes during your session if you would like. And yes, we may be able to even get you on a front cover!
